<B>1972-73 Mike Maloy Game Worn Dallas Chaparrals Jersey.</B></I> One can't help but love the American Basketball Association, with its red, white and blue basketball and wide-open, flashy style of offensive play, and the rare artifacts from the rogue league remain highly sought after by thousands of collectors. Offered here is the jersey worn by the six-foot seven inch forward out of Davidson named Mike Maloy, who represented the Virginia Squires for two seasons before finishing out his professional career in Dallas in 1972-73. True to the shoestring budget of the league, the jersey was reconditioned for use after Maloy, and a faint outline of "San Antonio" is visible under the replaced "Dallas" on the chest, illustrating that the shirt followed the team to its new home in 1974. The number "54" on chest and verso, and the "Maloy" sewn across the shoulders, are original and unrestored. Wear is very solid, as could be expected from multiple seasons of wear, with the "Rawlings [szie] 46" and washing labels loose at the interior tail but still affixed.
