<B>1970-S 25C Washington Quarter--Double Struck in Collar, Clashed Dies--PR66 Cameo PCGS.</B></I> A rare double error on a modern proof coin. The obverse (hammer) die was loose when this piece was struck. Like all proofs, the coin was struck twice, but the obverse die rotated approximately 20 degrees clockwise between the two strikes. The date, mintmark, and other legends remain from the initial strike. In addition, the dies strongly clashed prior to the strikes.
