1970 Plymouth Roadrunner Convertible 383 cid overhead valve V8 engine rated at 335 horsepower, three two-barrel carburetors, automatic transmission, independent torsion bar front suspension, live axle leaf spring rear suspension, front disc and rear drum brakes; wheelbase: 116"-For 1970, the Road Runner continued to be based on the popular Plymouth Belvedere hardtop body, but the original concept was changing. As noted in a Motor Trend report, ÓItÒs no longer a stripped down Belvedere with a big engine and heavy-duty suspension.Ô The Roadrunner could be had with a seemingly endless choice of colors and power train variations. This particular example still retains a 383 V8, as delivered new, but has been updated with a six-pack intake. The original intake and carburetor set-up is included. Complete with build sheet, it has the N96 Air Grabber hood option, 727 automatic transmission, power steering, 3.23 Sure Grip rear, bucket, and console. Finished in Sublime Green, it has been decoded by Galen Govier and is listed in the Chrysler Registry. The paint and body are arrow straight and in top show
