<B>1970-71 Phil Esposito Game Used Stick Signed by Boston Bruins Team.</B></I> During his glory years with the Bruins, Boston hockey fans proudly displayed bumper stickers on their cars which announced, "Jesus saves, Espo scores on the rebound." The first player to reach one hundred points in a season, Esposito would top the century mark six times during his Hall of Fame career, with his greatest total of 152 coming the year he made use of the Northland Custom Pro stick we are privileged to present here. The stick exhibits fine use, suggesting that a fair quantity of that season's seventy-six goals and equal number of assists were registered by its taped blade. "Esposito" is emblazoned in block lettering at mid-shaft, with more original tape found at handle end. A faded red number "77" is found at upper shaft. Adding another layer of desirability to what could already be considered one of the most desirable Esposito sticks in the hobby is the addition of twenty signatures from the Bruins team, most notably Espo himself, Orr, McKenzie, Smith, Cashman, Cheevers, Stanfield, Hodge and Awrey. This is widely considered to be the greatest hockey team of all time, featuring four one-hundred point players just two years after Esposito became the first to ever reach that mark, and setting an NHL record for victories in a season.
