<B>1969-D 50C Kennedy Half--Double Struck, Second Strike Off-Center--MS62 NGC.</B></I> After the first strike, the newly minted half dollar failed to clear the dies, though it did rotate approximately 45 degrees clockwise, and was struck again, which affected nearly 25% of the surfaces. Both strikes display a full date and mintmark, an unusual circumstance.
