1968 Detroit Tigers Team Signed Bat. After giving up just a single run in eighteen innings of World Series action, Bob Gibson was finally shown to be human in the seventh inning of Game Seven, giving up a two-run triple to Jim Northrup that would prove to be the game winner for the Tigers. This hero of the Motor City appears on this special Louisville Slugger bearing the autographs of thirty members of the World Championship Tigers. Also here are Cy Young winner McLain, Series MVP Lolich, Kaline, Mathews, Sain, Horton, Brown, Stanley, McAuliffe, Wert and many more. All are signed in the boldest of sharpie, with a minor amount of smearing to Brown and McAuliffe, likely suffered at the signing. Otherwise the bat is essentially unimprovable. The first World Championship for Detroit since Hank Greenberg's 1945 team. LOA from PSA/DNA.
