Very rare and unique 1968 Camaro titled model year from General Motors with a 1969 factory built body, sold as new. This car is the definition of a classic, high performance muscle car with strategic, modern mechanical and technological upgrades. Raw, old school, big cubic inch horsepower but with electronic fuel and ignition controls. This buildup has been well thought out and constructed with the best parts available for its’ intended use.

Model year:
1968 Camaro model year as delivered by General Motors with the not yet released 1969 Camaro body. The car is actually one of the very first new body styles to ever be released, making this a very rare and unique vehicle. It has been built as a Super Sport (SS) but was originally sold as base model car. Please note vehicle identification number (VIN #) to independently verify vehicle history. VIN# 123378L308976.

Engine:
Big block Chevy 468 CID, dyno tuned, tunnel ram, Accel Gen7, wide band oxygen sensor closed loop operation, sequential electronic fuel injection.
530 horsepower/ 580 foot pounds of torque at the crank, 460 hp/500 fp. tq. at the wheels, chassis dyno tuned. (dyno tuned by Vangordon & Brown Performance, Claremont, CA - dyno sheet to be included with vehicle docs). 9.75:1 compression ratio, TRW forged flat top relief pistons, .030 over. Balanced and blueprinted rotating assembly, steel crank and sized rods. Edelbrock Aluminum hi-flo heads, match ported intake and exhaust runners. Full hydraulic roller valve train assembly with billet aluminum roller rocker arms. Hooker Supercomp, Ceramic coated (inside &out) 1 7/8” primary to 3” collector long tube tuned headers, dual Flowmaster mufflers with H-pipe and pre-rear axle dumps. Accel dual pickup digital distributor (cam and crank ref), MSD digital 6AL discharge box with matching coil and wires. Custom aluminum radiator, water pump, stainless steel/AN coolant transfer lines (all fluid, vapor and vacuum lines on the entire vehicle are either AN and/or compression fittings). The engine can run on either pump or race fuel due to the ability of self adjusting fuel and ignition systems. On race/aviation fuel add 10-15 more horsepower and torque! With some minor adjustments this vehicle can also be converted to run Ethanol /or Gasoline.

Transmission & Driveline:
Custom built Turbo 400 with 2200 RPM Continental hole shot torque converter, B&M Magnum Street Bandit Shifter mounted in a custom center console. One ton yolks, u-joints and balanced driveshaft. Dana 60 rear end, 4:10 gears with a Detroit Locker center section.

Suspension:
Stock front and rear suspension assemblies with adjustable airbag front suspension, upgraded front sway bars, front disk brakes, rear traction bars, welded sub-frame connectors and 15 in. Centerline Convo-Pro aluminum wheels.

Electronics/Stereo/Interior/Security:
Custom mounted Autometer gauges, relay controlled power and accessory switches. Custom made hood and trunk LED light assemblies. Custom billet taillight assemblies and front fog lights. Trunk mounted 0AWG wiring, electro-magnetic, dual gel cell batteries with switching system overload protection. Pioneer fold out DVD/multimedia source unit (6.5in. video monitor). Two (2) Zappco Reference Series Amplifiers (1600 watts of power), Diamond Audio- Hex Series 6.5in component drivers (12 speakers), Diamond Audio-12 in.-Hex Series Sub-woofer, free air mounted and ported into cab. 0AWG power wiring throughout the entire system with top of the line oxygen free Monster Cable, RCA signal cables. Acelle color integrated back up Camera (flush mounted in the trunk keyhole bezel). Air actuated trunk solenoid and cylinder with on-board air compressor and tank. Stock black interior with brand new carpet, dash and rear deck. Trunk deck mounted 17” widescreen LCD monitor, wireless stereo headphones, Diamond Audio Hex Series component speakers, wired into the main multi-media stereo system and integrated back up camera, mounted and installed into a removable custom made enclosure (remove for drag racing). Lojack Anti-Theft Tracking System and multi-kill/security systems.
