1968-70 Hank Aaron Game Used Bat. Spectacular s
1968-70 Hank Aaron Game Used Bat. Spectacular specimen dates from a three-season stretch that saw Hank hammer 111 of his career's 755 home runs into the outfield seats. Top authenticator Dave Bushing describes the use as "Heavy," noting deeply embedded stitch marks that suggest quite strongly that at least a few homers were launched from this bat's barrel. The Adirondack 63A features the "teepee" center brand and block lettered "Hank Aaron" at barrel, with specifications of thirty-five and one-half inches and thirty-three and a half ounces, proper for Aaron's ordering records at the time. Number "44" is boldly proclaimed in vintage black marker on the knob and barrel end. Despite the fantastic evident use, this important lumber remains uncracked. A solid 9/10 black marker signature appears on the barrel for a final impressive touch. Though it appears that Barry Bonds may unseat Aaron from the top spot on the career charts, the Braves Hall of Famer will continue to reign in our hearts as the legitimate Home Run King regardless of the facts and figures. As such, any quality game used memorabilia such as this should remain the most solid of investments. Graded A9. LOA from Dave Bushing. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
