1968 10C No S PR67 PCGS. The resumption of proof coina
1968 10C No S PR67 PCGS. The resumption of proof coinage in 1968 brought with it an additional complicating factor: a mintmark, to represent the issues as San Francisco products. As it turned out, it did not take long for that mintmark to cause trouble, as this No S dime can attest. The surfaces are well-preserved and deeply reflective, with suitably detailed devices. A touch of pale golden toning graces the obverse periphery, while the reverse is untoned with modest contrast. While not so elusive as the 1975 No S pieces, this variety is exponentially more difficult to acquire than the 1970 or 1983, and its status as the first such error for any denomination creates further demand for the few extant specimens. Population: 6 in 67, 4 finer (11/06).

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
