<B>1967 Mississippi Sesquicentennial So-Called Half Dollar.</B></I> Heraldic Art Medal #27. Sterling silver. On the obverse is the coat of arms of Mississippi: a shield with the Federal eagle, resting on a pedestal that shows the inscription BY VALOR / AND ARMS, supported upon each side by Chickasaw and Choctaw warriors. The reverse displays the steamboat <I>Robert E. Lee </B></I>on the Mississippi River, with a spray of cotton beneath.
