The Sansui Model 500A is a circa 1966-1968 tube-based AM/FM multiplex stereo receiver amplifier with an analog tuning dial, brushed-metal faceplate and ventilated woodgrain-finished metal cabinet. Published exact-model specifications rate the amplifier at 20 watts per channel RMS. Front-panel controls include tuning, band and function selectors; bass, treble, balance and volume controls; speaker selection; low- and high-filter switches; loudness; tape monitor; mono/stereo mode; muting; and FM AFC.
