Multi-colored, hand-painted and hand-lettered 1965 New Year's greeting created by cosmonauts' wives, depicting a cosmonaut in a red spacesuit holding up what resembles a Christmas tree (no ornaments except for a star at top), prominently displaying the hammer and sickle, signed by Yuri Gagarin (first man in space), Gherman Titov, Pavel Popovich, Valery Bykovsky, Valentina Tereshkova (first woman in space), Vladimir Komarov (crashed during re-entry aboard <I>Soyuz 1</B></I> in 1967, first to die in flight), Boris Yegorov, Pavel Belyayev, Boris Volynov, Yevgeny Khrunov, Georgy Shonin, and Vitaly Zholobov.
