1964 Jackie Robinson Signed Book. "The right of every American to first-class citizenship is the most important issue today," begins the brave racial pioneer's Baseball Has Done It, recounting his historic crossing of our National Pastime's color barrier and the challenges that still lay ahead. Given Robinson's supreme relevance to the integration of baseball, this book is widely considered to be one of the most attractive media for his autograph. We find on the opening blank page of this first edition hardcover, with "Best Wishes, Jackie Robinson" provided in 10/10 blue ink. A small degree of toning is evident on this page but to no visual detriment, and the book is otherwise in fine condition with the original dustjacket showing some toning and edge wear but remaining complete and solid. An important keepsake from one of the most important and inspiring figures of the twentieth century. LOA from PSA/DNA.

Shipping: Books & Catalogs (view shipping information)
