<B>1964 Plain Edge "Quarter" Pattern, Unlisted in Judd, Pollock-5340, Unknown Rarity, MS64 NGC.</B></I> Pollock's Type Two, with large bust and laboratory as the central motifs. 83.6 gn. No indication of alloy on the field in front of the face, or on the NGC insert, but the piece appears nickel despite light tan toning. In 1964, the rising price of silver forced the Mint to change the composition of dimes, quarters, and halves.
