<B>1964-D 50C MS65 Prooflike NGC.</B></I> Type Two Reverse. Brilliant, well struck, and surprisingly mirrored for a Denver Mint Kennedy half. It was discovered in a roll of 1964-D halves received by a Whitman employee on the first day of issue in 1964. Ken Bressett, editor of the <I>Guide Book,</B></I> was present when the piece was discovered. He commented, "This exceptional piece was unlike other coins in that roll, and was apparently a first strike from newly polished dies."
