<B>1964 5C Jefferson Nickel--Late Stage Brockage, Huge Broadstrike--MS62 PCGS.</B></I> A nickel (not this coin) was struck normally but remained in the coinage chamber. An additional planchet (to become the present coin) was fed in. Both coins were struck, with the current coin between the reverse die and the prior strike, giving the obverse of the current coin a brockage impression from the reverse of the previously struck coin. More strikes followed, with newly fed planchets spreading the brockage reverse.
