<B>1964 50C Kennedy Half--Double Struck on Two Fused Planchets--MS65 Uncertified.</B></I> The initial strike was normal, but the piece failed to eject from the dies, and a second planchet was fed between the obverse die and the piece from the first strike. The second strike expanded the diameter of the first strike piece, and fused it together with the newly fed coin. The latter partly wrapped around the obverse die.
