<table><tr><td><table><tr><td>1964 10C SMS MS68 PCGS. These are intriguing coins. We have handled several 1964 Special Mint Set coins and sets over the past several years. They are coins that simply should not be. And yet they exist in very small numbers. Presumably, a number of test strikes, perhaps 50 or so, were done in 1964 for the next year's special (non-proof) strikings: the 1965 Special Mint Sets. In Kevin Flynn's book The Authoritative Reference on Roosevelt Dimes, he states that several 1964 Special Mint Sets were found as part of Eva Adams' estate. What we have been told is that these sets turned up in a Stack's auction in 1993 and were part of a prominent New York dealer's estate. Of course, both stories could be true. The fields on this piece show signs of extensive die polish. This in turn has imparted a semi-prooflike sheen, but definitely not a proof finish, to the surfaces. The devices are also bright and match the fields with no contrast evident. The striking details are uncommonly bold, and based on strike alone, one might conclude this is a proof. Thus, this piece is "neither fish nor fowl," just as one would expect from a Special Mint Set finish as seen on the 1965-67 coins. There are no obvious contact marks on either side and there is just a whisper of golden toning on the left side of the obverse. Population: 3 in 68, 0 finer (2/04).From the Eric A. privileges conferred therein are strictly construed and is the exclusive
remedy. Purchaser by non-compliance to its express terms of a granted

<b>Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Provision:</b><o:p></o:p></span></li>

conducted under the provisions of the Federal Arbitration Act with locale
in Dallas, Texas. The prevailing party may be awarded his reasonable
attorney's fees and costs. An arbitrator's award is enforceable in any
court of competent jurisdiction. Any claim made by a bidder has to be
presented within one (1) year or it is barred. Any claim as to provenance
or authenticity must first be transmitted to Auctioneer by credible and
definitive evidence and there is no assurance such presentment that
Auctioneer will validate the claim. Authentication is not an exact science
and other contrary opinions may not be recognized by Auctioneer. Auctioneer
in no event shall be responsible for consequential and incidental damages
and the value of an item is determined by its high bid, which is
Auctioneer's maximum liability. Provenance is not guaranteed by the
Auctioneer, but rather provenance is guaranteed by the consignor. Any
action or claim shall include the consignor with auctioneer acting as
interpleador or nominal party. While every effort is made to determine
provenance and authenticity it is up to the Bidder to arrive at that

default in payment thereof shall be arbitrated pursuant to the arbitration
provision. In the event that any matter including actions to compel
arbitration, construe the agreement, actions in aid or arbitration or
otherwise needs to be litigated, such litigation shall be exclusively in
