1963 Mercedes-Benz 220 SE Convertible 2195 cc inline six-cylinder engine rated at 134 horsepower, automatic transmission, independent front suspension with A-arms and coil springs, independent rear suspension with coil springs and swing axles, four-wheel drum brakes; wheelbase: 108.3"-The natural evolution of the Mercedes-Benz S Class was to a larger and even more luxurious four-passenger convertible. The newly redesigned car had a larger cabin, bigger seating areas, more storage and luggage space, and improved handling and performance. It was Mercedes-BenzÒs largest post-war cabriolet and would represent a huge success. Production of this body style would continue into the mid 1970s. This lovely car, being offered without reserve, is equipped with many great features that were not offered even five years prior. Automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes were among the appointments that contributed to a nice driving experience.
