<B>1962 Saskatoon Sr. Quakers Blazer Worn by Wally Patrick.</B></I> In what was one of the earliest instances of a touring hockey team, the 1962-63 Saskatoon Quakers of the Saskatchewan Senior Hockey League were selected as Canada's representatives for a tour that visited Czechoslovakia, Switzerland and Sweden. Created by Elwood Flynn, Ltd. of Saskatoon, the blazer that we offer was worn overseas by the team -- an impressive show of the team's solidarity both on and off the ice. The black jacket has been fitted with a team logo over the left breast pocket and is a modified golf garment as seen by the interlocking flag and club logo on each button. Condition remains strong despite the age of the piece with no noteworthy flaws to mention. This particular offering was worn by Wally Patrick, a member of the touring squad.
