We begin with a big and bold sweet spot Casey Stengel, then find fellow Hall of Famer Rogers Hornsby just below, even a point better on the signature rating scale. The top panel holds four more signatures, highlighted by the ever popular Gil Hodges. Gus Bell, Sherman Jones and Frank Thomas round out the cast of characters. They too rank 9/10 or better, and the ball exhibits some moderate toning that does not diminish the vintage appeal.
