<B>1961 Roger Maris Single Signed Baseball.</B></I> Providing the most ideal vintage imaginable, this ONL (Giles) baseball was autographed for the son of the New York Yankees' team pilot the evening following Maris' record-breaking sixty-first home run. The newly-crowned single season home run king's blue ballpoint ink is a glorious 9+/10, and reads, "To Randy, Best of Luck, Roger Maris." A few small scuffs on the ball are noted for the sake of full disclosure, but do not interfere with the tremendous visual appeal. A notarized letter of provenance from the pilot's son Randy will accompany the lot.
