Item/Description: The Grundig Shortwave Tube Radio (Model 997) is a vintage German table radio model imported to the U.S. It was designed to receive FM, AM, and shortwave bands.

Grundig is a German electronics company founded in 1945 by Max Grundig (German, 1908-1989) post-WWII. Renowned for its innovative audio and television products, the company grew to be a symbol of West Germany's post-war economic revival.
