1960's Lefty Grove "Single Signed" Baseball. This superstar southpaw was a key ingredient in Connie Mack's second great dynasty in the late 1920's and early 1930's, and pitched the final game of his Hall of Fame career for the Boston Red Sox the day that Ted Williams elevated his 1941 batting average to .406. Here we find his bold (9/10) black ink signature on the sweet spot of an Official Pacific Coast League baseball. Once a multi-signed sphere, the balance of the signatures has been removed professionally, leaving not a trace behind. With a scarce Grove single of this quality likely to command something in the neighborhood of $5,000 at auction, this ball becomes a very attractive solution for the budget-conscious collector. LOA from PSA/DNA.
