1967-68 Jacques Laperriere Game Worn Jersey. Few can argue that the timeless design of the Montreal Canadiens hockey sweaters can rival any uniform in any sport in its overall attractiveness. As the 100th anniversary of the franchise's existence approaches we shall celebrate by offering a rare number "2" sweater from the Habs' 1967-68 campaign. A 25-year-old Jacques Laperriere wore Doug Harvey's old jersey number, now retired, and enjoyed a magnificent season en route to collecting his third Stanley Cup. The beautiful red wool sweater exhibits the Canadiens' trademark stripe design and has the immediately recognizable red-on-white-on-blue three color tackle twill interlocking "C" and "H" logo on the chest. White-on-blue "2" numerals are found on verso as well as on either shoulder. This style Canadiens jersey is a lace-up collar version, but the original string has since become missing. Tease Knitting Company tag sewn in inside left hem. Great wear is apparent in the collar area, as well as by the numerous holes and advanced identifier puckering. Two team repairs are also found on the right sleeve. Fans of hockey will delight in this chance to acquire such a historically and aesthetically attractive exemplar. LOA from Mei-Gray.

Shipping: Clothing, Costumes & Jerseys (view shipping information)
