<B>1959 Tex Carleton Old Timers Game Worn Uniform.</B></I> Beautiful home white flannel uniform recalls the style of the famed Gashouse Gang, right down to the embroidered "Tex Carleton 34" in both the tail and upon a swatch sewn inside the waistband. Carleton shared the mound that season with Dizzy and Daffy Dean, returning to St. Louis to celebrate that club's silver anniversary in the uniform we present here. Classic chenille birds and bat logo spans the chest of the jersey, with number "15" appearing on verso. Tagging in tail includes "Rawlings Hall of Fame Flannel size 46" and dry cleaning instructions. The pants are similarly tagged, noting a size "38" and "27" Inseam," with a "Set 1 1959" flap tag affixed. The belt shows much greater wear than the rest of the uniform, and intriguingly has a markered "Musial" on the inside, leading us to believe the belt was used by the Hall of Fame slugger before it was offered to Carleton on Old Timers Day. A few scattered spots on the uniform are noted for accuracy's sake, but these do not affect the visual beauty.
