<B>1958 Ted Williams Single Signed Baseball.</B></I> If there is a finer single from the great Ted Williams' playing days, we certainly haven't seen it. For that matter, even those singles signed late in the Splinter's life could do no better than tie the presented autograph, a bona fide 10/10 blue ink inscription reading "Best Wishes, Ted Williams 1958." The spectacular OAL (Harridge) sphere has clearly been treasured by the fan to whom it was presented during Williams' final season atop the American League batting average charts, with only the fading of the ball's stamping to suggest that the ball didn't just drop out of a time machine.
