<B>1958 New York Giants Team Signed Football.</B></I> The team that would fall to the Baltimore Colts in an NFL Championship match known forever after as "The Greatest Game Ever Played." Thirty-one members of NFL East's top team in '58 have applied their blue ink signatures to a white "Rawlings Buddy Parker Professional" model ball, with notable names including Gifford, Rosie Brown, Maynard, Triplett, Conerly, Chandler, Lott, Livingston, Huff and Heinrich. The Huff and Gifford signatures are a bit light (2/10 and 4/10 respectively), but the rest of the listed autographs average about 7/10 in boldness. An application of shellac over the signatures has toned the ball somewhat, though these flaws must be overlooked considering the rarity of team signed footballs from this era, and the tremendous desirability of this team specifically. <I>LOA from PSA/DNA.</B></I>
