<B>1958 Harlem Globetrotters Featuring Wilt Chamberlain Broadside.</B></I> Denied the option of entering the NBA prior to completing his studies at the University of Kansas, history's greatest "big man" opted for a year of play with the Harlem Globetrotters, earning the astronomical sum of $50,000 for his year of service. Here we find one of the few surviving artifacts from that brief partnership, printed to promote a March 11th game at the Toledo Sports Arena. Terrific color artwork is from the pen and mind of famed <I>The Sporting News</B></I> cartoonist Willard Mullin, best remembered as the creator of the Brooklyn Dodgers' mascot Bum. The poster measures 14x22" in size, with a few tack holes at top and an upper right corner bend. Neither of these concerns is particularly evident except upon close inspection, providing a NRMT appearance despite a technically lower grade.
