<B>1958-59 Johnny Bower Toronto Maple Leafs Cardigan Sweater.</B></I> It took over a decade of toil at the levels below the NHL, but Johnny Bower proved his skill as a top-tier goaltender and got his chance to prove it when the New York Rangers called him up in 1953. It was with the Toronto Maple Leafs that he would enjoy his most productive years in the net, collecting four Stanley Cups with the team. From his first season with the Leafs in 1958-59 we offer this brilliant team-issued cardigan sweater. The white sweater is highlighted by the impressive team logo applied over the heart and includes two blue stripes on each sleeve and blue cuffs. Wear is evident and tiny spots of staining affect the garment in areas, however it must be said that little has been done to knock down the display potential. Fantastic Hall of Fame apparel courtesy of one of the finest netminders to date.
