<B>1957 Roger Maris Signed Government Postcard.</B></I> One of the most appealing Maris autographs we've ever encountered. Penned just three months after the future King's Big League debut, this GPC postmarked "Cleveland, Ohio, July 12, 1957" is inscribed in Maris' 10/10 blue ink hand, "Best wishes to Wayne, Roger Maris, Cleveland Indians." A bit of toning at left edge in noted only for the sake of accuracy. A fantastic companion piece to the rookie Mantle government postcard also found within this auction.
