1956 Franklin Silver Half Dollar, certified and encapsulated by Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) with a grade of MS 65 (Mint State 65). The obverse features a right-facing profile portrait of Benjamin Franklin, surrounded by the inscriptions "LIBERTY" above and "IN GOD WE TRUST" below, with the date "1956" positioned to the right of Franklin's shoulder. The reverse displays a detailed rendering of the Liberty Bell at center, flanked by a small eagle to the right as mandated by law for half dollar designs at the time. Additional inscriptions include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" above and "HALF DOLLAR" below, with "E PLURIBUS UNUM" to the left of the bell. This coin is struck in 90% silver and 10% copper. Slab: 2.5"L x 0.5"W x 3.5"H. Coin diameter: 30.6mm.
