1956 Brooklyn Dodgers Signed Baseball PSA/DNA
"1956 Brooklyn Dodgers Team Signed Baseball. Please note that the Duke Snider autograph has been deemed secretarial. With a rookie Drysdale, Sandy Koufax in his second season and Jackie Robinson in his last, the argument could surely be made that the 1956 team represents the greatest collection of superstars to concurrently inhabit the Ebbets Field dugout. All three are present on this ""Dodgers"" souvenir baseball, along with Campanella, Snider, Reese, Hodges, Newcombe, Erskine, Furillo, Labine and more. Twenty-four signatures are here in all, with each marvelously bold and legible despite mild hazing of several of the autographs. You won't find a team ball with better displayability either, as a single panel boasts Robinson, Drysdale, Campanella, Snider and Reese, with only Clem Labine failing to make the Cooperstown cut. This fact alone should place this sphere in an elite class. We must note seven clubhouse signatures, though none are listed above and Alston is the most notable. LOA from PSA/DNA. From the Personal Collection of Preacher Roe, with his letter of provenance. "
