<B>1955 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Team Signed Football.</B></I> High-grade pigskin remembers a powerhouse NCAA squad that ruled the gridiron a half-century ago, finishing eight and two with rankings of ninth and tenth in the nation by AP and UPI respectively. Most notable among the almost fifty autographs are that of Paul Hornung, who would go on to Hall of Fame greatness as a member of Vince Lombardi's Green Bay Packers, and coach Terry Brennan. Also here are Schaefer and Bisceglia Unbelievably, only a couple of the autographs (and not Hornung or Brennan) dip below an 8/10 rating, setting this white-paneled ball at the absolute pinnacle of the small supply of similar specimens.
