<B>1955 Brooklyn Dodgers Team Signed Baseball.</B></I> After decades of singing that common refrain, "Wait 'til next year," the Ebbets faithful were finally rewarded for their patience by this '55 squad. Twenty-two members of Brooklyn's only World Championship squad rally together on this ONL (Giles) ball, serving as a lasting tribute to Flatbush optimism. Notables include Robinson, Campanella, Alston, Furillo, Hodges, Gilliam, Spooner, Hoak and Frank Kellert, whose single season of service to the Bums definitively dates the ball. Typical of Dodgers balls of this era, several clubhouse autographs are found: Reese, Amoros, Podres, Snider, Loes, Roebuck, Meyer, Walker and Hughes. Autograph quality ranges from 4/10 to 8/10, with all but two (no Hall of Famers) in the upper half of that scale. <I>LOA from PSA/DNA.
