<B>1955/55 1C Doubled Die Obverse MS64 Red PCGS.</B></I> A lustrous pumpkin-gold beauty that boasts a bold strike and nearly unmarked surfaces. Minor carbon is appropriate for the MS64 level. Unlike some published doubled die varieties, the 1955 DDO-001 is obvious to the naked eye, and in fact is the most dramatic of all doubled die cent varieties. The two hubbings have a wide spread, and both hubbings are strong.
