<B>1955/55 1C Doubled Die Obverse MS63 Red and Brown PCGS.</B></I> The famous doubled die of 1955 is possibly the most important doubled die variety listed in the Guide Book. This piece has splendid surfaces with full satin luster. Both sides have considerable reddish-orange mint color that is accompanied by pale blue and brown toning.
