<B>1954 Johnston Cookies Milwaukee Braves Complete Set (35).</B></I> The second of three annual issues, Johnston's increased the set size to 35 cards while switching to an unconventional cards size -- 2" X 3-7/8". Bobby Thompson's card was removed after an early-season injury, which accounts for its scarcity and high value. More importantly, this development cleared the way for a young Hank Aaron to play more regularly. Highlights include #5 Henry Aaron (VG/EX), 21 Warren Spahn (VG), 34 Bob Thompson (EX), 41 Ed Mathews (pin holes). All but six of the cards grade VG or better, with three additional cards displaying small pin holes.
