1954 Buick Skylark Convertible 322 cid overhead valve V8 rated at 200 horsepower at 4100 rpm, three-speed Dynaflow automatic transmission, independent front suspension with coil springs and live rear axle with leaf springs, four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes; wheelbase: 122"- The Skylark has been credited as the brainchild of then GM president, Harley Earl, and it was a radically different American automobile. With styling cues taken from EarlÒs XP-300 experimental LeSabre and a beautiful swooping beltline never before seen on a Buick, the new Skylark was simply arresting. This Buick Skylark was restored in June 2008 with great attention to detail. The identification numbers on various components match properly for this car. It benefits from new factory correct red paint and is presented with complementing red leather upholstery. A fresh white convertible top adds a very nice accent to an already lovely Skylark. Chrome and stainless steel bright work, a major component of the SkylarkÒs presence, have also been recently refurbished to be in perfect
