<B>1953-S 50C Washington-Carver MS67 NGC.</B></I> Gilroy Roberts was the engraver responsible for making this Isaac Scott Hathaway design coinage-ready, and while the design is not a favorite of most numismatic aesthetes, credit must be given to Roberts for his efforts. The Superb Gem offered here is more than presentable, with potent luster that shines beneath silver-gray patina in the centers and bronze-tan toning at the rims.
