<B>1953-S 50C Washington-Carver MS66 PCGS.</B></I> One of the more available Washington-Carver halves, though its mintage of 108,020 pieces falls far short of the 2,006,292 coins that comprise the 1952 issue. Vibrant luster shines beneath a panoply of colors that saturate each side. The effusive magenta, powder-blue, aqua, reddish-orange, and goldenrod patina commands immediate attention. The surfaces show surprisingly few marks for the grade, and the overall visual appeal suggests that even a Premium Gem grade might be conservative.
