<B>1953 Chief Bender Signed Government Postcard.</B></I> "If I had all the men I've ever handled and they were in their prime and there was one game I wanted to win above all others, Albert would be my man," once said Connie Mack, who had such legends as Rube Waddell, Eddie Plank and Lefty Grove from which to choose. Bender's black ink signature is a flawless 10/10 on this GPC mailed from Philadelphia in October of 1953, just seven months before his death. Postcard exhibits minor edge wear but is otherwise free of flaws. <I>LOA from PSA/DNA.</B></I>
