<B>1953 Bowman Baseball Black and White Complete Set (64).</B></I> Similar in all respects to the 1953 Bowman color series; purportedly, the high costs involved in producing the color cards forced Bowman to issue their black and white counterparts. A total of five cards have been graded by SGC with an aggregate SMR value of $260. Graded cards - <B>SGC 70 EX+ 5.5:</B></I> #15 Mize; <B>SGC 60 EX 5:</B></I> #4, 57 Pafko; <B>SGC 50 VG/EX:</B></I> #8, 39 Stengel. Ungraded cards include #1 Bell (VG), 25 Sain (EX), 27 Lemon (EX), 28 Wilhelm (VG/EX). Grades 60% EX to EX/MT, 40% VG to VG/EX (some lesser).
