<B>1952 Chuck Dressen Game Worn Jersey.</B></I> With weapons like Jackie, Campy, Pee Wee and the Duke at his disposal, Dressen skippered the Bums to a National League Championship this season, and matched the hated Yankees through six and half games of World Series action before falling to a Mickey Mantle Game Seven-winning home run at Ebbets. This fantastic white flannel home jersey dates from that season that saw the Flatbush crew come within inches of the brass ring they would clutch in three years' time. Classic "Dodgers" script bursts from the chest in royal blue felt, with number "7" taking up the rear. "Rawlings size 44" tagging inside collar gives way to embroidered blue "Dressen 52" sewn directly into the left front tail. Wear is strong, due in part to a second season in the minors, which accounts for the restored text on front. A single team repair appears on front and verso, and the jersey is free of any condition issues that affect the display negatively.
