<B>1951 Ty Cobb Signed First Day Cover.</B></I> We knew that Cobb was late to the Hall of Fame induction ceremonies (explaining his absence from the famous photo of Ruth, Johnson, Young and the rest), but was he really this late? First day cover from the 1939 opening of the Baseball Hall of Fame was signed twelve years later by Cooperstown's first resident, a flawless 10/10 black ink autograph tagged "4/2/51." The envelope itself shows no flaws of note, presenting as a solid NRMT. <I>LOA from PSA/DNA.</B></I>
