<B>1951 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball.</B></I> Widely considered to be the most desirable of all post-war team balls are those featuring the 1951 Bronx Bombers, who earned the third of five consecutive World Championships under the new reign of Hall of Fame manager Casey Stengel. This pedigree is not entirely the reason for the elite status in the hobby, however. True Yankee fans will know that this season represented the only one that saw Joe DiMaggio and Mickey Mantle share an outfield. Each is present and accounted for on this Official Texas League ball along with nineteen fellow Yanks, including Stengel (rare on team balls!), Berra, Rizzuto, Mize, Coleman, Woodling, Bauer and more. Three unrelated signatures are here as well, not included in the count. Signature quality ranges from 7/10 to 9/10, and the ball itself exhibits a clean and creamy tone. Definitely a top shelf example from this historic convergence of baseball icons. <I>LOA from PSA/DNA.</B></I>
