<B>1951-D 50C Washington-Carver MS66 NGC.</B></I> Sharply struck and satiny with slight amber rim toning near the lower obverse and pastel blue and yellow patina over the remainder of the piece. As part of a three-coin set, the 1951-D Washington-Carver half was the second commemorative design distributed by Dr. S.J. Phillips.
