<B>1951 50C PR67 PCGS.</B></I> Although the proof mintage for 1951 was only modestly higher than in 1950, in 1952 the proof number soared past 80,000 pieces. The surfaces of this untoned, silver-white coin range from brilliant near the portrait to frosty at the rims, producing a halo effect.
