1950s Navajo Beaded Children's Dolls (2)
For your consideration are two 1950s beaded Navajo children's dolls. These two dolls were hand made. The dolls display a clothe construction with a painted face. The first doll is wearing a yellow shirt and white pants with maroon moccasins. She is wearing a concho belt and a large beaded necklace with colors of white and light blue. She wears a green headband and has beaded earrings with colors of white, light blue and red. The second doll is wearing a large purple dress with white fringe in the middle of it. She is wearing large red moccasins and the under layer of her dress shows a white base color with a blue floral design. Her belt shows a beige color with a sparkling geometric design. Her beaded necklace shows colors of light blue, green, white, black, red, orange, yellow and tan. Her hair is done up in a bun and her beaded earrings show colors of white and light blue. Both dolls show good condition with some slight wear from their vintage age and use throughout the years, but no signs of obvious damage are present. The dolls measure 2" L x 4 1/4" W x 12 5/8" H.
