1950's Tris Speaker Single Signed Baseball. It was a legendary career that almost never happened, as Speaker's left arm was so badly damaged in a college football injury that doctors initially suggested amputation. But Speaker recovered to become one of the greatest hitters the game has ever known, maintaining to this day the career record for doubles, and top ten positions in average, hits and triples. Much like the man who signed it, the offered baseball finds few rivals, and may just be the nicest Speaker single to reach the auction block in recent memory. The blue ink of the sweet spot signature maintains a boldness of 9/10, and the Official Southern League ball that serves as its home is only very lightly and evenly toned. A magnificent specimen that would adapt easily to a life within the finest of Hall of Fame collections. LOA from James Spence Authentication.

Shipping: Balls, Pucks, etc., Small (view shipping information)
